This auction will be for a good reliable 2002 Mazda Protege5. This front wheel drive five door sport hatchback has a Silver exterior finish with a clean Black cloth interior. This Protege also comes nicely equip with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt wheel steering, air conditioning, cruise control, a factory am/fm/cd player, rear window defrost and a rear window wiper. The drivetrain is a smooth and strong running 2.0 liter fuel injected four cylinder engine with a manual five speed transmission and four wheel disc brakes. The four cylinder engine runs very well and there are no oil leaks, smoke, or problems. The clutch and five speed transmission shift smooth and the other mechanics of this Protege are all also in great shape. We have all our vehicles serviced and safety inspected before we sell them and if there is a problem it gets corrected before the sale. This Protege is a nice dependable vehicle that starts right up, idles nice and is a nice tight feeling car. The non smokers Black cloth interior has a nice clean appearance. There is a full floor console with headrests on the seats and a fold down rear seat. There are no rips in the cloth seating, no tears and no missing or broken trim items. The seats, floor carpet, dash panel, door panels and headliner are all also clean and overall everything is in order with the original owners books included. The Silver exterior body also is in good shape but does have some flaws. There are some rust bubbles starting on the passenger side rear wheel well, there is a rear bumper paint scuff and some miscellaneous other scratches on the car. The rust spot you see on the hood end and the paint scuff in the front bumper cover will be re-painted before the sale. We just wanted to show the car as it is in its original condition. Other than those flaws the Protege is a good straight original car. There is factory tinted glass, roof racks and 16" alloy wheels. With only 109,984 miles this 2002 Mazda Protege5 front wheel drive sport hatchback is a good solid and reliable vehicle to own. The engine and mechanics are in top shape and it is a very nice driver. The interior cosmetics are clean and despite the flaws on the body, as mentioned above, the body is clean and straight. The tires are in excellent condition and overall this Protege is a good vehicle. Excellent for the first time driver, back to school driver or just for daily driving. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. We will do our best to accurately describe all vehicles, but be aware our vehicles are pre-owned and not brand new. Therefore, signs of wear and use may be present beyond our description (small paint chips, nicks, scratches, fading, wheel scuffs etc.) may exist. Also, Most of our vehicles are New England vehicles. Normal oxidation and/or surface rust may exist under the vehicle. If confirmation is not received within 24 hours Fedele Auto Sales reserves the right to cancel this auction or sell to any qualified bidder. 6)PAYMENT METHOD:Full payment for this vehicle is to be be paid within (5) days. This is to be done with one of the following methods: Bank to Bank wire transfer, Credit Card, Paypal, Bank Check or Money Order. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
