ANYTHING MORE CALL ME 512-917-5460 It has the original Thing ball joints and front beam (rebuilt in 2005). A lot of these have apparently been replaced with bug beams and ball joints which are slightly smaller and the ball joints are configured differently. We recently pulled the motor out to replace the clutch and cleaned up the engine compartment. We also rebuilt the carb. The generator was rebuilt in 2004 and we've kept it tuned up real nice. I change the oil way too much (whenever it starts to look dirty). I do regular valve adjustments and they're not very far off when I do. We replace the plugs, cap & rotor about every other year and they don't wear unusual. The compression sounds fine and the motor runs strong. We mostly towed this around the country behind our RV and rented cars for road trips. This Thing was used more for local commutes and though the speedo/odometer has long been disconnected, a true estimate on the engine is about 40k-50k miles. The heater boxes are in place and work great. The defroster has never been hooked up but the diverters under the back seat are there. Its a solid running little thing with no real rust issues.
