Up for sale... The Original Granny 5's Chop & Drop Bare Metal 5 Window Coupe! HOT ROD Magazine feature car April 2011 and on the cover of the subscription copies! Also had a few appearances on the new Hot Rod TV show covering this years Power Tour! This is a turn key, ready to go Hot Rod that we just enjoyed 2600+ miles on the 2011 Power Tour. Needs nothing! Tagged and insured and driven several times weekly. This is NO TRAILER QUEEN! It's original Henry Ford steel body has 4 1/2" chopped out of the roof with an 84 Z-28 hood for a roof insert. Complete with functioning ram air vents to bring in the fresh air. The floor is channeled only 2" and leaves plenty of room inside to stretch out. The body was blasted and ospho treated before getting ground with scotch brite pads then clear coated. The patina is coming back and yielding an awesome array of colors. Has some great old school stripping too. The chassis is custom built from 3/16" 2x3 tubing. It is z'd 3" up front and has an 11" step in the rear. All suspension components are name brand such as Super Bell, Posie, Fat Man Fabrication, Pro Shock, Flaming River, and Wilwood. It drives great and runs straight down the road. Coker 5.60's and L78's on 15x5 and 7" custom offset wheels. The engine is a 350 4 bolt that is .030 over. It's a one piece rear seal block with the older style big valve heads. Nothing radical, just good looking, reliable power. Has a nice sounding Crane cam. Tunnel ram with NEW Holley 450's. New lake style headers and exhaust. Backed up by a T5 tranny and 10 bolt rear end with 3.23 gears. I averaged 20+ mpg with this combo on the Power Tour! The interior is comfy with custom made buckets. We cut the center sections out of Dodge Caravan rear and middle seats to make bucket seats the size we needed. They are way better and more comfortable than some of the bombers. Covered in white and black Houndstooth with red piping. The whole inside of the cabin is covered with Eastwood insulation. Full complement of working Stewart Warner gauges. It has all the glass in it and the side windows do roll up and down. The doors also lock so you can leave it secured. If you enjoy having an awesome ride that folks of all ages will come to you and ask about and take pictures of... then you will love this thing. I had full intentions of painting it red or black, but then it would be just like all the others out there. It draws MEGA attention everywhere we go in it and chances of there being another one just like it at a show are pretty slim. Don't miss out on this chance to get a proven Hot Rod that's ready to roll. I am located in Georgia and they are a non-title state so I am not able to get a title. It is registered, tagged and insured as a 31 Ford. According to my tag office, a bill of sale is all that's needed to transfer ownership. I am selling it to build my next ride and for no other reason. My apologies if you were looking and bidding on this car when the previous auction ended. There was a possible deal on the table that fell through and I would be happy to explain to serious bidders! I have REMOVED THE RESERVE and started the bid where it left off! So someone is going to win one Bad Boy Hot Rod right here! Thanks for looking and happy bidding! Call me with any questions @ 912-670-1518. Jason
