1959 Volvo PV544.I Original drive train. Engine runs but the car has been sitting for several years, I think the carbs need to be cleaned out. Has dual carbs, brand new 6 volt battery, brand new brakes, very solid body, one small rust hole in front and bottom of rear fender on the passenger side. 4 speed manual transmission. It has later model Ford wheels on rear and the front are original. We also have 4 more originals (pictured). They are the same bolt pattern as a small Ford 5 lug. The rear floor pan on the drivers side was rusted but has been replaced with the original replacement floor pan. The rest of the car is ROCK solid, 100%. The trunk is solid as a rock. It has a new muffler, glass is all good. Doors, trunk & hood all shut tight. Not original front seats. I have extra back window and extra trim (pictured). I was going to make a car that looked like a street rod, but with the original 4 cylinder engine - and just have lost interest. Body was stripped to bare metal, now it is in primer green. This is a very cool looking car. You could go two ways with it - go back to original or make a street rod out of it. Lights work on it, so does horn. If you want a car that no one else has, this is it. I've never seen one before I bought this one or after - except in magazines. I was going to repaint it and put some nice Ford magnum 500 wheels on it, because they are 14" wheels and I was going to paint it Porche red and have the carbs rebuilt and drive it on the street, and just use it for a nice little driver. This is a very unique car.
