Up for auction is a 1967 TR4A. It's been some time since I sold anything on EBay, but this car has to go. I bought this for the wife some years back, but now she prefers the MGTD. This car has been a good driver, and is steady. I have replaced the SUs so there should be no carb issues. Thee tyres are good, and the wires are good, but for one that could be repainted. The chrome is original, and has age, and although not show, is good to average. The engine is reliable, and there are no issues with the wiring. (Remember it is Lucas). The top is very good with no tears or cracks. The body was repainted at some time in the past, but looks good and shines. The seats have been replaced, and have no tears. All the instruments work as they should. There is no rust in the gas tank, and I have replaced all of the master cylinders. So there are currently no leaks. One of the rear spline adapters for the wire wheels I am told needs attention by my mechanic, but the wheels remove easily and have been properly cared for. The frame is sound, but there is one small rust spot at the rear of the frame behind the trail arm which I was unable to photograph. There is no overdrive. The car has always been undercover; it is not perfect but my reserve does not reflect that. I want the buyer to get a reasonable deal, and so my reserve is low. I will answer any questions. The TR has a Mass. Title. True mileage unknown. Will not ship; will work with your shipper. Will store car up to 4 weeks.
