OK. Hello. This is a NO RESERVE auction for my 1972 Honda CB500F Four Cylinder Cafe Racer. Cear Title. Frame#: CB5002030839 Engine# CB500E-2630713 4 into 1 exhaust. Straight bars for that sleek Cafe Racer ride and look. New speedo cable, new K and N filters, good tires. Rims and spokes are very good. Original owners Manual is still under the seat. Seat is in excellent condition with no rust. (see pictures)Chrome on fenders and bars etc., is very good. the carbburetors have been professionally cleaned by a Honda dealer. One small dent on front fender behind the forks. This bike was a good running bike. The guy parked it when an electrical component went out. I think it is the rectifier. The engine kicks over great and the oil looks great. He said the bike always ran excellent. I bought this bike to make a full bore cafe racer. I have been working on it a little at a time. Alot of work. New Maier Side panels, new speedo cable, new kicker, new fork boots(still in package), polished the rims and chrome, did alot of little things. But now, I just don't have the time. It's too bad becasue I am so close to firing her up. I was going to buy a new battery and get a new rectifier for it and then start it up and ride it as my cafe racer for bike night at our local watering hole. But, I just can't find the time to do it. I have a Harley so I guess I'll use that for bike night, but, it would be awesome to ride this bike. It looks really cool. Here is your chance to go Cafe Racering. Buy it. get it running and go!!!
