MOTOGROTTO...THE BMW BOXER AIRHEAD RESTORATION STATION...SPECIALIZING IN PEACE OF MIND AND PURE MOTORCYCLING SATISFACTION 610-749-0747 EASTON PA 18040. Here is a really nice 76 R75/6 with 36,500 miles.Mechanically this bike is excellent. It will need a new rear tire by the end of the summer and other than that it is fine. The transmission has been rebuilt last summer.Splines lubed.Top end reseal gaskets and pushrod tube seals.Recent fluid change throughout.This bike is mechanically quite sound and clean.The paint is original and in fair shape.It has many scratches and has a haze to it in the sun however it looks ok in the shade. A repaint would make this bike cherry or just ride off into the sunset and enjoy the reliability within.Paint won't make it run better... The seat is in good shape and has some custom made stainless trim instead of the chincy plastic snap crackle pop stuff that it came with.The seat also has the airhead easy off setup which allows you to pull the seat straight up to get underneath for service or tool tray without removing the saddlebag.Pretty slick.Here is the link.http://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/seatmod/index.htm Here is a YouTube video.The saddlebags are in great shape.Solid.New sealed battery.All electrics work proper. This is a great bike with a very low reserve, very original,low miles and ready to Rock and Roll.Great platform for that cafe bike you have been wanting to build for some time.Inexpensive great solid base to trick out to your style.I am building a cafe bike right now out of another one of these that will be ready in a couple of weeks.There is no tool kit.
