1999 Mercedes Benz SL 500 SPORT My wife and I do not want to sell this car, but we absolutely need to get a bigger car for our business. This is a very fun car that runs and drives excellent.We've had quite a few sports cars, but nothing compares to this roadster. The car isn't perfect, but if you're looking for a very dependable car that looks stunningand is a real thrill to drive. This just might be your car. The engine and transmission on this car is as good as the day it left the factory. The car also has the best BOSE sound system you will ever hear in a car, period. heated seats, dual power seats, sport package. Here is what the car will need. Soft top is still nice, but the plastic windows need to be replaced. It also needs new convertible hydraulic cylinders, the top still works but it is starting to go out so we stopped using it. You can still operate the top manually if you want, or you can buy the cylinders and install them. If you're familiar with SL500's you'll know this is a common issue. It also needs an antenna, drivers side mirror fading, right fog lamp out of position, rear view mirror shakes, front brake pads low, a/c blows cold, but won't blow through vents, (only floor or windshield), chrome AMG wheels show slight pitting, paint and body 7/10, interior, 7/10, motor perfect, transmission perfect. Overall a very nice car that looks nice, runs fantastic, just needs TLC - Maybe $1500-$2000 in repairs.You won't find a 99 SL500 Sport like this for 7K anywhere.If you've always wanted one of these, you should seriously consider this one. We are selling this car cheap and we are being honest about the car so you know what you will need to do to make the car perfect.We are looking for an ML320 or similar SUV so if you have a trade, let us know.
