This two-owner E30 325is is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and includes service records and documentation from new. The car is completely stock inside and out with the exception of an Alpine CD receiver in place of the factory stereo. However, the original factory stereo is included. The car has received a high-qualty repaint in the original Bronzit-Beige color within the last several years, which also included replacement of the rubber gaskets around the doors, hood, sunroof and trunk, which all still look like new. All exterior trim (including the front lip spoiler) is present and in excellent condition. There are no dents or dings in the paint. There is no rust. Inside, the pearl beige leather interior is in very good condition and the "is" sport seats function properly, including the penumatic hight adjustment. The driver's seat has minimal wear but the welting along the outside upper bolster is cracked in a few places and there is a small puncture in the leather on the lower portion of the bolster (not very noticeable). All instruments, check panel lights, service-interval (SI) lights, windows and switches function as they should. The dash is crack-free and in perfect condition! There are no mechanical or operational issues--the car starts, drives, shifts and runs like new. Nothing needs attention that I'm aware of. No fluid leaks, and the A/C blows ice cold and has been properly converted R134a (new blower, compressor and dryer) and holds a charge. Recent maintenance has included: Timing belt, drive belts, water pump and muffler replacement: 179,000 mi.New tires, radiator, oil cooler line, ICV and rear wheel bearings: 195,000 mi.Oil change, brake fluid fluid flush and leak-down test (less then 2%): 195,000 mi. Current mileage is 195,753, and the car recently also passed the rigiroius Maryland Safety and Emissions tests in March 2011. This is an rare example of an original E30 325is that has been incredibly well maintained and is ready for continued enjoyment and care from another enthusiast. There are many "Inspection II" dealer service stamps in the Service Booklet, so it's possible they were replaced at some point but I don't have a service detail printout for those. Q: What is the condition of the tires?A: Tires are nearly new with about 500 miles on them. They are Falken Ziex ZE 912's in stock size . Q: Have the wheels been refinished?A: No, I believe they are original. They are in good shape, with only a small (1/2") scrape or two on the outer lip. Q: Sunroof open/tilt/slide with no issues?A: Yes, all sunroof functions work correctly. Q: Any fluid leaks?A: No, none that I see. I've never noticed any spots on the garage floor after being parked, even for extended periods. Q: What is the condition of the leather seats. A: Minor imperfections in driver's seat is noted in the listing description. It may be difficult to see in the photos but there is some patina on both front seats from use, but no tears or major blemishes. All seat functions work properly. I also popped off the rear seat and confirmed the original build sheet is still there with all "is"-specific option codes listed. Q: Does it have LSD?A: Yes, I confirmed the original differential is present and it is a LSD diff per the code on the diff housing.
