1929 Ford Model A Sedan Up for sale is my 1929 Ford Model A sedan. This car is definetly a one of a kind! The car was dissasembled and sandblasted inside and out. The doors open and close properly but the drivers door does tend to stick a little when shut ( just needs spring plate to be grinded down a little to fix) If I get around to it I will fix before car sells. The top on this sedan was chopped 7 inches and the bottom of the car was cut off 4 inches giving it that low and mean look. Car has door handles inside and out ( new on the inside and will come with new ones for the outside as well. just need to be installed.) The frame is a rear swing arm set up, that has airbags. This Model A with its radical chop sits about 38 inches tall with the air out of the bags. The car will raise about 4-7 inches with air in the bags. The rear end is out of an 85 dodge with a gear ratio of 300. The rear wheels are 20x9 dodge wheels with BRAND NEW white wall tires. The rear air bags pump up with a tankless air compressor off of an ambulance with the push of a button. There is a guage on the dash for the rear bags. The rear swing arms are 2x2x1/4 inch wall tube. The swing arms use a bushing. The swing arms mount to the same mount as the transmission mounts too. The frame is 3x3x1/4 inch wall tubing. The front kick up is 7 inches and is 2x4x1/4 wall tube as well. The rear 3 windows have been cut and installed and tinted limo tint. the front window has been cut and installed as well. There is no door glass installed but dont need it it this bad ass rod! The engine is a ford 250 inline 6 cylinder out of a 1972 ford Maverick with a c4 automatic transmission. The engine was a low milage engine and starts and runs great and transmission shift smooth. The transmission has a new modulater valve and filter and fluids changed The radiator is from a 68 ford mustang and has a trans cooler. The engine has new points,plugs,wires,valve cover and gasket,new oil filter and oil,thermostat and water pump. Engine has been painted flat black. My plan for this bad ass ride would be a ford flathead V8. The front end is a 1954 ford truck mono leaf I converted to a radious rod buggy spring setup. The radious rods are origional 1929 and are adjustable for propper front end alignment. The front frame rails are drilled and sleeved and pinch from 4 inches down to 3 inches toward the end. The steering is suicide with a nissan steering box. All brake lines,wheel cylinders,brake shoes are new. Has wrenches for brake and gas pedal! looks very cool. The car has a 10 gallon gas tank with the filler comeing out the roof! The car has been painted a satin black and looks wicked! This car was very well built. Has a new wood steering wheel and a very cool tiki piston shift knob! The radio in it does not come with the car but all wires are still there to install one. All brand new guages installed (just need hooked up) I have all papers to install corectly. This car gets looks anywhere it goes! Definetly a bad ass ride! There is no rust holes in this car! I have a clear title in hand from Virginia though the car is located in Ohio! roof is a little wavey but overall very nice (I think it looks good! plus was going to install a vinyl top with a 1/4 inch padding that would make it all go away!) This car isnt perfect and doesnt ride like a cadillac but will definetly stop a crowd! Check out the pics you will see just how unique this car is! Please dont ask for a buy it now price.
