So here si the story. i bought this 1970 datsun from the original owner last year. he said the 7x,xxx miles were original. I bought this car for my wife because she wanted a strange car she could drive and no one else would have one... well 14 monthes later she is still yet to drive it so i am selling it. It is a 1970 and it was originally a spanish red car. it has one repaint and it was repainted some sort of burgandy. It has wheel well rust on both sides but the driver side is worse of the two. the rust is fixable as is the quarter panels. the car has door dings and such all over the sides here and there. The original owner was a professor at George Mason University in the 70s and drove it daily until 78. He said he then retired it and only put 1000 or so miles on it a year. I bought it last spring and as soon as i got it i purchased new Bridgestone Potenza tires for it, painted the wheels gloss black, installed Z-Therapy Carbs, and a East Coast Roadster electronic ignition plugs wires and coil on it! I spent over $2000 in parts in the first week. the car also has a new timing chain, electric fan, metal and rubber fuel lines and fuel filter PLUS other little stuff. the car is lowered per new springs custom made in the front and 1" lowering blocks in the rear. It is also ridfing on NEW KYB GR2 shocks. ALL OF THE NEW PARTS HAVE LESS THAN 100 MILES ON THEM!!!!! all thew gauges work. the clock does not work and i have not tried to fix it to be honest with you i didnt care. the brakes are good and stop striaght and smooth and the clutch works flawlessly! The car is great and i even went last week and bought a bunch of parts just so she had a hardtop for it. She has since decided she is done iwht it. So it is up for sale for a HUGE LOSS NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! the car runs great and is a BLAST to drive! I will be more than happy to help load the car for shipping! TONS OF SPARE PARTS! RUNS LIKE A TOP! all it needs is body work to be really nice but i enjoyed driving it as a bit rough around the edges. the soft was new 5 years ago but it has two slits in it and some of the perimeter studs are missing.
