This is a 1948 Chevy one ton flatbed farm truck. It has great patina! Not a rust bucket, this truck has lived its life in the southwest and in California. About fifteen years ago, the original stovebolt six was replaced with a low mileage 350 out of a 75 Monte Carlo. It still has the original tranny with a granny low gear. The truck has some surface rust, and some minor dings and dents from its sixty plus years on the road, but overall it's in great shape. This truck has just emerged from a fifteen year garage storage, and rolled right out on its tires. It hasn't been started, but ran fine when it went in. It has been in an enclosed garage in dry Sacramento the whole time. All the glass is good, including the curved side glass. Not many chances to own a time capsule like this, when men wore hats and the air was clean. Low reserve.
