2004 GMC 3500 Sierra SLE 6.6L duramax turbo diesel dully. Truck has 205,489 miles on it. Oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter changed every 5,000miles. New water pump a month ago. Truck has some minor driver side door damage see pic. engine has a noise that you can hear at idle but goes away when accelerating and comes back at normal drive. Took in for a service check and was told the noise was coming from the lower engine.. Was told that in order to find out the exact problem they would have to tear into the engine.
