Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 1969 AMX which was given to me by my father in 1982. He bought this car new in 1969. It has been in my family since it was new and has had no other owners other than he and I. I had the engine professionally rebuilt in the early 90's when it had ~89,000. The brakes and brakelines where completely replaced in 2002. I had a new clutch installed in 2003.The car drives and runs excellent. I drove it from Rochester NY to Boston, MA last month (June 2011) with no problems at all. It is running great. I have much of the paperwork associated with various work done on the car over the years. I have a tilte for it also. It is currently registered and being driven by me around the metropolitan Boston area. If you're looking for a fun car to drive, this is what you're looking for. I have sold many things on ebay, but never a car so I'm listing this in a vanilla sort of way. I have more information and more photos for serious inquires. Michael Update: 7/26/11 to answer the barage of emails I got on day 1. Wow!!! This car is valued around $20,000 as is. A mint condition 69 AMX runs around $40,000. It won't take much work to get this car there. No major rust issues at all. The car had Ziebart undercoating when brand new. It has some spots on it though. Nothing major. The car has been kept in my garage for most of it's existence. Molding is glued on. No rivets anywhere. I have the original owners manual and plastic card issued to my step father. I have two different AMX repair manuals, one from Chiltons and the original from AMC. They are well used as most AMC owners know. It is a 390 engine with the Go-Pak. No major accidents but the front right fender was replaced when I hit a fence post as a kid. It has disk brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Brakes and lines totally replaced about 8 years ago. Over the years, I have done minor body work behind the rear tires. Nothing major. Just spotty rust repair. The floors and trunk are in excellent shape. Pictures will be emailed later this week. I have had a lot of requests and interest in this car. Michael
