1982 BMW 320i, E21 5 speed manual transmission 2 door coupe. Black with tan cloth interior We are second owners of this great 1982 BMW 320i. Purchased through our local BMW mechanic, it came from the estate of a gentleman who used the car while visiting his second home in Vermont. Always garage kept, the mileage and everything about the car is original. We are selling as we have several BMWs in our fleet and this one has been sitting in the garage largely un-driven.Features include a big sunroof, sharp black paint with pinstripe, shark nose front end. The good: All original, collector quality car.Body is in great shape, we've always garaged her in the winter. Showing only the expected dings and scuffs for its age, the pictures tell the story here.Maintained to the highest standard by us and our local BMW mechanic (yes, his name is Helmut).Runs beautifully great mileage, efficient 1.8L in line 4 cylinder engine - all original.Drive train - rack has been checked and is tight. The bad:If you fill it up 100%, you can smell gas. If you fill it up 7/8, no problem.The tires are OK and inspectable, but will need new ones in 5k mile or so.A/C status unknown.there are a couple of small tears on the driver's seat and a couple of small cracks on the dash, see photos.In summary : this is a great car, bid with confidence.
