Up for sale is a very nice 85 Mustang GT. This car is a 1 owner California car that holds a clean California title. This car is very original to how it came loaded off the truck to a ford dealer in sacramento CA. It is a high optioned car and is excellent condition. It has always been in california, been very well taken care of and has only seen 53,000 original miles since new. It is extrememly well documented, I have very receipt since the car was new, every oil change, warranty work etc... Car comes with all the manuals, keys and even the original owner i.d. tag when it was first purchased. Its equipped with a 5.0 H.O. V8 and a 5 speed trans. 3.07 gears in the back at 75mph its only turning 2000 rpm. The drivetrain is 100% stock, no modifications what so ever. Passes California smog everytime. The car starts, runs and shifs great. The air cleaner still has all the warranty recall labels attached. The exhaust is original. It has factory A/C, factory power windows, door locks, cassette premium sound, cruise, fog lights, and rare sunroof. Everything works. The A/C works great, but needs to be charged, it still has the R-12 set up. Factory rear window louvers were added as an accessory brand new. Runs excellent and drives very well. The car handles like its brand new and ive always been impressed with its drivabilty, its a great car to drive. It has very rarely seen rain and is always covered. Even for its 200 and some odd horsepower this car fly's it runs and drives great! I did recently take it out for a jog and i believe an axle bearing is starting to go out. Doesnt sound to bad , but it is noticeable. Still confident to drive the car anywhere. The body is excellent and is 100% rust free. The front fenders and nose piece of the car had a ford factory warranty repaint a few months after it was purchased. There is some minor peeling starting which the pics show. All the panels are original, there are no dents and very very minor scratches if any. Car comes with the original full front mustang bra that is in perfect condition. All the headlights taillights work and show perfect, fog lights even have the original caps on them. The glass is all perfect, the louvers are in excellent shape and gives it a nice look. All the GT stripes are in excellent condition. There is very minor spilt in the fog light area of the front plastic of the car if you can see it in the pic, and a chip in the paint on the door, those are pretty much the only blemishes. The interior is immaculate. The seats are perfect, the fronts have the thigh supports and rear seats look like they have never been sat it. The gauges and the surrounding dash are in perfect condition. The carpet is extremely clean and has all the floor mats except for one in the back, i dont know what happened to it. All door panels front and back are in excellent shape. All the gauges work great the only fix needed is that the car always has the low fuel light on, on the info display panel near the shifter. Original owner added a switch on the lower part the dash to control max A/C. The suspension is all original, handles and rides great, the tires are almost brand new. Hopefully i described this car the best I could. Its a great car and hopefully it goes to a good home.
