This is a sharp Dakota SPORT 4-dr. automatic V-8 4X4 that was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will make an extra nice rebuilder for someone.

The damage is minor and should not have been totaled out but insurance companies do this and I never know why? The pictures should answer many questions about the damage and explain why it was totaled. I pulled the camper shell, bed liner and spare from underneath where they did not and I as they would have figured a bed in the estimate plus tail gate and damage to both rear frame rails but they did not, they just wrote it off! This is where the pictures will show that there is no damage to the bed and this truck will repair with tail gate repair,(or replace) bumper and repair both rear frame rails the pics will show no kinks over axle, only end of frame where bumper & hitch were. All 4-doors swing as they should and only minor damage to passenger side cab corner where the camper shell slid into it. This was not a hard hit but the bumper and hitch took all of it. The insurance company did remove bumper and hitch as they were expecting to repair? It is hard to guess where the damage is in pictures plus with shell & bed liner but this should make it clear to a repair person?

The overall truck is in above average condition and the miles are great for the age. The truck drives straight down the road as I have been driving it all around and find no faults anywhere. All glass is good, suspension is good all lights & signals work and will drive or trailer home fine. No hail, minor surface rust as can be seen in pics but above average condition other than normal wear & tear. No signs of abuse or off road use. The jack was removed from truck.

The interior is also in good condition and looks to have been owned by a non-smoker plus loaded with equipment and all works as it should including cold air, cruise and keyless remote including a good working aftermarket REMOTE START!

The owners Insurance Company quoted the actual cash value of this truck at $8100. before damage. The truck is for sale locally for the Buy It Now price.
