1967 Mercury Cougar standard has a 289 cubic inch engine, 2 barrel carburator. It has a 3 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drum brakes, and would be a good project car or a great parts car. It runs and drives but the brakes need some work. It also needs quite a bit of body work but if you have the time to fix it, it would be worth it. Also, the floor pans would need to be replaced because the previous owner did not do a very good replacement job. The tail lights are not connected, so for safest transport I would recommend taking it on a trailer. Interior has a manual center console and all the parts except for carpet. Last road trip taken was in the fall of 2010 and we did not have any issues with the vehicle over the 4 hour trip. Clean title. Reserve is set at $1000.00, because if parted out, the parts would sell for more than that. Buyer responsible for arranging pick up or shipping. $200.00 deposit required within 48 hours of close is non-refundable.
