Up for auction is a 1991 Toyota MR2 NA. Whether you are looking for a sporty fun car or just something to save you some gas money on your commute with 30 MPG, you have come to the right place. The car features a sunroof which is considerably more rare than the T-top version of the car. The car also has keyless entry and an alarm system added. This car is mechanically very solid and would not be afraid to drive anywhere. It was upgraded to a newer model MR2, so it's time for this one to go. The auction is running with no reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder. Please keep in mind, you are bidding to buy, do not bid unless you intend to buy. The drivetrain on this car is the 2.2L NA engine. It has 110k original miles on it and it runs and drives out strong. The clutch was replaced within the last 10,000 miles as well as the clutch slave cylinder. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts solidly. The engine doesn't use oil and gets great fuel economy. The title is labeled exceeds mechanical limits because it was at one point registered in a state that gave all cars over a certain age that label since most cars (American) only had 5 mileage digits and not 6. From the history report with mileages shown and the odometer with 6 digits, you can see that the mileage is correct. The exterior of the car is in good condition. The paint is original on the car and is in overall good condition. The car has just been waxed and is parked in the garage until the new owner comes to pick it up.The tires have a fair amount of tread left on them and should be good to go for miles to come. There are the expected small blemishes in the paint that you would expect from a car of its age, but overall pretty good. A couple specific areas to note is there is a slight fade spot on the passenger front fender, looks good and not really noticeable when the car is waxed, but comes back through after a bit of time. Also, the rear spoiler has some pitting in the clear coat which is normal for this era MR2. The power antenna froze this past winter and broke and should be replaced with either a stubby or a new power antenna. The trunk is clean and is the perfect size for a full set of golf clubs! The interior on the car overall is in pretty good shape. All the door panels, dash, and carpet are in good condition. The car features power windows, power locks, power mirrors, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player and a coin/cup holder has replaced the original double din stereo. It has a new ash tray since the original was cracked. The passenger seat is in good shape, but the drivers seat could use some attention. If the buyer is interested I can include a set of 2 dark blue cloth seats for no charge from another MR2 that could be swapped into the car. The seats could either be dyed or just used as is. The steering wheel and shift knob could also use replacing as well since they are original and have deteriorated over time. The air conditioning blows coolish, but not cold and could use servicing.
