Have you ever heard—“My loss, your gain”? That is the story with this car. I bought it about 4 months ago in Ohio, but I live in Texas. I planned to take a trip to get it but circumstances prevented it. Now the owner of the property where it is stored wants it gone. So—NO RESERVE. The high bidder get it!This is the '88 GT, the one everyone wants. As you can see it needs a good polishing and has a small hole in the passenger door—easily fixable, I'm told. Also as is obvious, there are some missing trim. I have the front clearance light piece and the upper fender trim piece as well as the lower fender piece, included in the sale. Will ship them to the buyer. Do not have the lowest piece, tho I've seen them for sale many times on Pennocks and E-bay. The seats are in need of a good cleaning also but not ripped. It's automatic with power windows, door locks and a good aftermarket AM/FMCD player. It has AC but have no idea of the condition. I'm SURE it needs at LEAST a charge Odometer reads a little over 170k miles.The serpentine belt broke just before it was put up for sale but my friend started it easily and put it on the dolly to take it to his property. The previous owner says the transmission was replaced a year or so ago as was the fuel pump. All in all, it seems to be a pretty good car and for someone who loves Fieros, especially the '88 GT, it's a steal. So HERE is your car. If you don't win it, you'll hate yourself! I have tried to be as truthful as I would want someone ELSE to be, if I WERE BUYING THE CAR. Therefore, anything inadvertently missed in the description will NOT be cause for cancellation of the sale. This auction is to BUY the car, not come see it. PAYMENT: My friend will have the CLEAR title I received from the previous owner IN HAND, when you come get the car. (I never transferred it.) Therefore, within 24 hours of the end of the auction, the purchaser must send OVERNITE a USPS Money Order in the amount of $500 as a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. And must get the car and pay the balance IN CASH OR USPS MONEY ORDER within 7 days (1 week) of the end of the auction, UNLESS different terms are mutually agreed upon. This is not to put a hardship on anyone but, bluntly, if you can't do as I ask PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THE CAR. I will not accept a cashier's check on a Nigerian bank nor 7-11/ WalMart money order for thousands more than the price of the car and refund the balance to your friend. NOR any of the other zillion scams making the rounds. So if that is your idea, I'm wise to you-- forget it! While I will not be responsible for shipment, my friend and I will assist in any way we can if you want the car transported AFTER I RECEIVE FULL PAYMENT IN CASH OR USPS MONEY ORDER.
