Vehicle Detail
1990 Mustang Gt v8 , 5 speed manual , 65k original miles on body, sunroof, 25th year car....Over this past winter this car car taken apart down to the shell for paint , the front clip was removed , the windows were taken out , doors and hatch were removed , all lights removed , and all interior removed , basically everything that could be taken off was taken off....The body was shot in a PPG Olympic white w/ many coats of clear , it is beautiful , there is no runs , no orange peel , no solvent pop etc , it's nice and was done by a professional shop..... The body was in great shape but just needed a freshening up , there is no bondo or hidden spots under the paint. The car was then put back together with all new weather seals , sunroof seal , gaskets , door locks , etc......The body on this car is straight ...... New 3 piece clear headlights installed , new smoked Lx tail lights , new fog lights ( need to be wired ) , 2 1/2 inch cowl hood added , complete Ford oem Cobra body kit ( just looks so much smoother ) plus more. The car really presents itself very well...There is No rust on this car , under side is nice not all scaled up , its in great shape, no accidents...... New deep dish saleen style chrome wheels w/ nitto extreme 555 tires , they have seen maybe 100 miles since new.... New brakes all around ... New shocks front and rear... Frpp springs .... Hotchkis adjustable upper and lower control arms .... Maximum Motorsports weld in subframe connectors w/ seat mount...... Driveshaft Loop... Frpp aluminum drive shaft ..... After market sway bars ..... Newer brake lines.... Body bushings ..... welded boxes..... The engine is a 306 w/ ford racing supercharger (powerdyne ) .......... Scat Forged crank .... Scat forged I beam rods ..... Trick flow flat top pistons ..... Sealed power Ring kit.......... Trick flow twisted wedge aluminum heads ...... Crane cam & lifters ........ Crane rockers ...... Trick flow Track heat upper and lower intake ...... Trick flow intake spacer..... 42lb injectors..... AN fuel lines ......... Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator ...... Sump fuel tank...... Pro m Mass air meter 75mm ......... BBK power plus throttle body ..... SVO elbow...... Crane Hi 6 electronic ignition w/ boost control option.... Msd billet distributor ...... Msd street fire coil........ New Hi out put alternator ...... Aluminum radiator with electric fan........ Steeda radiator hold down........ Ford racing powerdyne supercharger w/ 928 motorsports billet impeller and billet shaft aprox 40% more flow.......... Mac headers ........... 3" flowmaster exhaust all the way back........ Bosch battery relocated to trunk...... Rebuilt Borg warner t5 transmission ,upgraded needs speedo gear installed ,have the speedo gear.... King Cobra clutch........ Steeda tri ax short throw shifter..... lightweight........ Rearend has Richmond 3:55 gears .... Moser 28 spline axles ......... Plus sooo much more but that is the gist of it.......The engine was dyno tuned at DEZ racing in boston mass and put down 408 to the rear wheels , and that was before i had the supercharger upgraded ....According to 928 it should ad aprox 50hp .... With a pulley change and the upgrades i did , i cant see why the car wont make 500 to the wheels......Honestly the car is Really healthy just the way it is right now, but thats up to the new owner what they want out of the car... The Interior of the car needs a little work , like i said the interior was pulled for paint and started putting back together....What it will need is the headliner is not the best (couple sags ) , needs the door panel speaker covers installed , needs the visors installed , glove box installed , map light installed , and a couple misc trim pieces installed.....There is new carpet in the car , seats are all in , basically complete interior minus the few things i listed, it could be driven the way it is right now...A good weekend and the interior would be complete and good to go...The seats could use a decent scrubbing but not bad just the rest of the car is soo nice you will want the interior to match....There is a new interior screw kit with bagged and labeled screws........ The interior does have a few goodies in it though.... Billet window switch surrounds ...... Billet knobs on dash .......' Billet dash plate......... Autometer C2 gauges 5" monster w/ shift light and adjustable redline.... Pillar pod with 3 C2 gauges boost , temp ,and fuel pressure ..... Down on the bottom of dash is 2 more C2 gauges for Oil pressure and Volts .... all the gauges light up indiglo blue and look great at night... Alpine head unit , needs the power wire hooked and its ready to go...... Jl Audio door speakers with covers , covers need to be put on... Jl audio rear speakers........... Well i think i just about covered most of the stuff..........The car needs a little finishing in the cosmetic department but like a said a day or 2 and that will be done.....When that is done you will have one very nice mustang w/ low miles too boot.....Car is beautiful and has not seen any road use since the paint, i have drove the car to the gym twice since,,,,, so maybe 10 miles ...... Motor was built before the paint but it is very tight and looks great, it don't have many miles on it maybe 3000-4000 .... The car looks soo much better in person then in the photos .... This car is very fast and is not for the teenager to drive unless he is really experienced .......There is a ton of money in this car and with the little finishing will be worth $10k plus all day...I have too many other projects going and this one just sits under the cover collecting dust so its time to go to a new home........Selling the car as -is , adult owned not beat on.....I know i am going to regret selling this car but that's the way things go....The new owner will be getting one he!! of a car for sure... Price is pretty firm but i may consider a serious offer....... Located in w.mass but i may be able to help get a you a really good price to ship the car within the tri state area , have friends that own flat beds/ trailers etc.Clean paperwork... tgates413 @ gmail .co m is the easiest way to get ahold of me or message me through ebay, i check that email at work so it would be the best for a timely response... thanks for looking....I have more pics and a video at the below address sorry about the sound in the video thought it was working or i would not have started the car... The car does sound amazing with a decently aggressive cam profile.. May consider a trade for lifted k5 blazer , lifted yukon , lifted tahoe , ls1 car , 67-69 camaro project or other cool cars or trucks, may even consider a custom hayabusa or zx14 ..... http://s1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/tandjordan/ On Jul-19-11 at 09:25:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is for sale locally as well as on here.... If it sells locally first then i reserve the right to end the auction early due to that....If the reserve is met i will not end the auction and i will let it run it's course....If you would like to come see the car in person or send somebody else to check the car over, you are more then welcome to do so...I actually welcome the inspection because then the car can be seen for what it is.I set the reserve VERY fair , if some body get's the car for the price of the reserve then all they paid for was the paint job and the wheels , all the rest of the car was basically free.. There is over $10k into just the paint and supercharger.....Trick flow heads w/ work $2k , wheels $1500 , suspension $1500 , gauges $1000 , hood $300 ,engine internals ( trick flow , crane , lunati , scat ) $2k ,Trick flow intakes w/ spacer $600, $600 exhaust , ignition system msd dist , crane fireball box ,msd street fire $600 , aluminum drive shaft $300 , rebuilt trans w/ clutch & short throw etc $1300 , rear gears and axles $700 , plus soo much moe bbk throttle body ,Earl's lines ,Ford valve covers ,Sump tank ,Hi volume Holley fuel pump, aeromotive , pro m , aluminum ecc , steeda ,electric fan, stereo ,another $3k easily do the math and figure out what you will be getting for the money..... Its over $20k right there... I also have a Saleen rear spoiler that is painted olympic white that was painted at the same time as the car , it will go with the car, also have some stock parts that go with it , control arms etc...Any questions please feel free to contact me......I will hold the car for the new owner while they make arrangements , as long as it's paid for and within a reasonable time frame (up to 2 weeks ).......If you watch the video you it will give you a better idea of the condition of the car , i just shot the video about a week ago..The pictures do not do the car any justice at all, you cant see how the paint shines or anything.....Thanks On Jul-20-11 at 15:11:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for all the replies and compliments, due to the ton of emails i am getting, my apologies if i do not get right back to you immediately, i do try to answer the emails a couple times a day.. I uploaded a short video i took today , it has sound so you can hear the car run....It is not the best quality but you can get an idea of how it sounds...It sounds soo much crisper in person or if i had a better camera to shoot it with.......The video is in the same link above...... Thanks On Jul-21-11 at 20:33:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Lowered the buy it now and reserve .... Thanks for all the compliments On Jul-24-11 at 17:21:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Took the car out for a ride yesterday to a local car show , just wanted to put some miles on the car and make sure everything was ok...The car ran great , in the humidity the car ran right at 200 degrees and did not move.We put about 20 miles on it..I noticed that the front brakes were making a little noise over the bumps so i put in new pins and pads yesterday, the pads i took off were like brand new but the pins were a little loose so i fixed that...Your are welcome to the old/new pads if you want them for spares or whatever, they have less than 200 miles on them... Otherwise the car ran great..... I took a pic of the car before i took it home....Good luck with bidding...
