Yes im trying to sell my 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It is Black and Gold just like the Bandits in "smokey and the bandit". I really do love this car alot and have been restoring the interior for about 4 months now. Just cant afford to finish it and bills getting to high as im about to get out of the navy next year so trying to sell it. So here are the details.... Engine is pontiac 400ci V8 6.6 L Automatic 4 speed Eldebrock carburetor recently installed New Goodyear tires New carpet No rips or scratches on seats, they are in great condition. Radio doesnt work, but new speakers are in the back, just havent had time to hook it up or get a new orignal radio A/C blows very nicely for its age, not like a new car but still works!!! New horn New electrical wiring for turn signals and lights New brake, headlights, and turn signal lights New weatherseals New door handles New gas, brake and ebrake New door sills, very shiny when you open the door New Rear view mirror Power windows, work but are slow on passenger side New seatbelts, old gm ones were broke when i got it, new ones are very nice black and still match the old school of the car. New shifter knob and shifter plate New "gold" pontiac emblem on the front and much more little things i have done... All was OER orignal equipment remake that i got off fbodywarehouse, so car still looks orignal Now on to the Engine itself, had a major oil leak that i tried to fix, i have already replaced valve covers and the trans pan gasket, still having leaks though, this is common in trans ams but can be fixed. So needless to say im selling this AS IS just like i got it. UPDATE (19July11) Been asking around about my oil leak, it could be easy as just the pcv or one of the hoses. I honestly think it might be something with the oil pump itself. But here is the big thing people the car is drivable, 100 percent, just gotta keep a check on that oil, but other than that it drives and sounds great, if someone was to get that oil leak figured out it would be just like you were in the 70s :).
