Vehicle Detail
I lowered the reserve from what it was last time I listed this truck. I am selling my 1997 Ford Ranger. I bought this truck used about 7 years ago from a dealer and started building it from there. The truck was stripped down to a bare frame and sandblasted. the axles was taken completely down and sandblasted. The spring packs for the back are skyjacker 6" easy ride spring that was also taken apart so i could paint the leafs front and back to keep from any rust from forming. There was a lot of time taken on this truck. It took about 2 years to build from start to finish. Front end is a Danna 44 high pinion narrowed to early bronco specs and the rear is a big bearing 9" narrowed to early bronco specs. new mosier axles in rear and new axles from jeffs bronco graveyard in front. Motor is a new crate 302 from summit racing with a new edelbrock carb and intake. 5 speed is out of a 1991 F-150 with a NP205 that i rebuilt with all new bearings. All the power steering, water pump, and all other motor accessories are new. Really the only thing left that is original ranger is the cab and 3/4 of the bed. I put a new bedside, both front fenders, and hood on the truck. the hood is a steel cowl induction hood. everything on the truck has been blasted and painted. All new bearings, balljoints, and u joints in front and rear ends along with new ring and pinons also. Both drive shafts were made at a local driveshaft company. As far as ride goes the truck rides the same if not a little softer then a stock ranger due to the soft ride springs. Any questions about the truck please feel free to call or text 740-502-4728. Trades maybe considered depending on what they are. I am more interested in old cars so looking to trade for something like that with or without more cash or depending on trade i can toss cash your way also let me know what ya have buyer is responsible for getting the truck to them. can be delivered or met within a reasonably distance. 100.00 deposit required the rest due at or before pickup. Thanks and good luck if you get the truck your getting a good deal cause it will be way less then it cost to build it i can promise you that. I put two videos of the truck on youtube feel free to view the videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eAHqKr5EXo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcLx5qPH-to On Jul-16-11 at 14:15:05 PDT, seller added the following information: ******updated***** i have had some calls on the truck and i forgot to put in the original ad the tires are new Micky Thompson MTZ 38.5x15.50 thought i would add cause some people thought they were 35s**** I lowered the reserve from what it was last time I listed this truck.
