1968 Dodge Coronet 440 from Tucson, Arizona. This Coronet was bought new from Breck Dodge of Tucson and was family owned until it went up for sale in 2006. Recently transported to Western North Carolina. Coronet came originally with a 318 V8,727 torque flight with power steering and manual drum brakes,bench seat, column shift, and pop out quarter windows. 318 now has 340 X heads (2.02's) with Offenhouser aluminum 4 barrel intake with new Edelbrock 1406 carb, including previously installed header exhaust and Holley valve covers. Rear end is a 8 & 3/4 with 3.23 open gears. 15' inch wheels are Cragar Outlaws with Dunlop GT Qualifiers, 275/60 rear & 225/50 front. Previous owner upgraded ignition to electronic using OE solid state voltage regulator, distributor & ecu. Original radiator has been rodded and repaired by Hays Radiator of Phoenix, Az. Brake master cylinder has been replaced. Coronet still has the original body panels, paint & interior. Carpet and headliner will need replacement. Fender tag is still intact. Has very minimal rust overall but does need patch panels in the rear quarters. Floor pans are in good shape and the trunk floor with only a couple of pin holes. This is an ideal candidate for a Super Bee or RT clone. Mileage shown may not be accurate. Comes with spare instrument cluster and grille with headlight bezels. Clear NC Title.
