1976 Datsun 280Z Convertible with a V8 (Chevy 350) engine with an Automatic (Hurst B&M shifter). Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb.. Both conversions were done by pros. The Convertible roof was cut and the trunk was fabricated (looks like it was done by the factory). The frame was given added strength by welding supports (see photos) from floorboard to front shock towers. And a fuel cell was put in (trunk) along with relocating the battery to the trunk). The V8 conversion was also done correctly (new radiator was welded in) engine supports are done well. New starter and new headers. Mechanically the car is all there, I drove it from Maine to Pennsylvania when I first got the car two years ago. Since than it has only been driven locally. The car is very fast and sounds great! It turns heads everywhere and is a lot of fun to drive. I am only getting rid of the car because it only has two seats (I have two kids, so we need a car that seats at least 3). Both conversions were done by the previous owners. Here is the down side of the car. The paint is not great (it looks good until you get up real close), all of the gauges do not work, there are not any windshield wipers (I have them, I just haven't put them on the car, they will be included), and finally there is no top. You could easily have one fabricated, if you felt you needed one. I have kept the car inside the garage and have only driven it on sunny days. Also, I would accept any trade offers that meet our standards (must have at least 4 seats). We are also open to Dune Buggys (must have 4 seats).
