1967 Volkswagen VW Type 3 Fastback Up for sale is my factory tan rat/hoodride/original-looker 1967 Volkswagen Fastback. Below are the positives and future needs of this project vehicle. THE GOOD clear Pennsylvania title Inspected til October 2011 No significant “through” rust, just superficial. Recently rebuilt engine approx 3,500 miles (Body has 95k mi.) Body was completely lifted off to weld in the new pan sections using the original outer pan flange. VDO tachometer VDO voltmeter oil temperature oil pressure new Pioneer headunit w/6x9’s in truck speaker boxes behind the seats (2) 2.5” speakers in the original dash speaker locations new tires front and rear (165/45's in the front to go low) EMPI-style 8-spoke wheels in silver powdercoat Innovations in Fiberglass bumpers new spun large aluminum fuel tank back seat is firm and not ripped original headliner has very few flaws new rear air shocks lowered front beam new front trunk seal new windshield seal new engine decklid seal new rear window seal EXTRAS A pile of extra parts including: full end-to-end Type 3 front beam (brakes, etc.) 2 pairs of extra doors 1 extra decklid extra merged exhaust system extra new set of pop-out windows seals trim lights, lights, and more lights and many miscellaneous parts NEEDS fixed doors engine tuning brake adjustment speedometer needle speedometer cable carpet door panels 1 wheel spinner missing original black vinyl Front seats will need fully reupholstered pop-out windows work but need new seals exterior aluminum trim reinstalled Again, this is a project car requiring TLC, unless you plan to run this as a rat/hoodride/original-looker! The paint is scratched, dinged, and chipped. The only noticeable (in the pictures, too) dents are at the nose down low, along the rear exhaust apron, and at a rear wheel well. The wheel wells are not rotted, nor are the heater channels.
