1987 Monte Carlo SS T-Top Aerocoupe Up for auction is one pre-owned Monte Carlo Super Sport Aerocoupe with T-tops. This car is in excellent show worthy shape with 97,958 original miles. This rust free car came from Iowa two years ago and is now in New York State where is has been in storage. I take the car out a few times a year just to put some miles on it but the car still has an Iowa title. I am the current owner with proper documentation. It has the matching #s 305HO V8 with automatic transmission, posi rear and console shifter with power windows, locks, bucket seats, tilt and a/c. It is sitting on BF Goodrich Radial T/As with 70% rubber left. This car has a very rare series of options being and Aerocoupe with T-tops and silver on silver color combo. As you can see in the picture of the gauges, everything is functional and the car has great oil pressure at idle which shows to be about 40-45. The body on this car is in amazing shape, you will not find ANY rust anywhere, there are no dents or scratches. As you can also see from the pictures from underneath the car the floor boards are very clean, the trunk and gas tank area are very nice, and the wheel wells are clean. The trunk has the original GM T-Top bags, original spare tire and lug wrench. The interior is in overall nice condition as well, the headliner does not sag like most, the carpet is clean, the seats are nice but the driver’s seat cloth does have a little bit of wear where you sit. The rear seat also has some wear in it and has a few abrasions in it but is not ripped or torn. The door panels are not faded or worn or cracked, however the small plastic screw covers on the drivers side for the pull strap are missing and there is one broken piece in the interior and that is the hinge on the center consol, these are both cheap parts and easy to find which I have just not got around to ordering because I just got the car out. When I took this car out of storage a few weeks ago I put it on the lift and pulled wheels and tires to check brakes which show to have 70% pad life left and the rear drums look good as well. It has 5 miles on a fresh oil change, topped off transmission fluid, checked rear differential oil, brake fluid, and antifreeze, all look good. This is a turn key show car which is truly in very nice shape. This car runs great, shifts great, starts easily, and drives straight down the road. This car is sold as-is with a clean Iowa title with a bill of sale. Deposit is required within 48hrs of auction close and full payment within 7 days. Payment shall be made with certified funds such as bank check, cashiers check, wire-wire transfer and also cash.
