No Reserve! 1940 Chevrolet Business Coupe I am selling this to help with a down payment on a house. The previous owner restored it four years ago and it was driven very little since. 250 Chevy Straight 6 Motor from a 1979 Chevy Truck that the previous owner bought new. Three on the Tree I have been driving it back and forth to work and just completed a 40 mile cruise with no issues. You can cruise at 50mph just fine (could go faster with radial tires) You could fly/drive here and drive it home anywhere. New Tires (NANCO 6.00-16lt) Die Hard Battery All new wiring Delco Remy distributor ooga horn New interior with back seat area converted to storage New seat coverings, headliner, carpet, rubber floor mats, door panels, sun visors Clear Title in my name This is a great daily driver and for local cruises. It is not a show car but a nice driver. The paint and body look good from 5 feet (there are some rock chips and evidence of body work that was done by the previous owner that can be seen when the sun hits it right) There is a small tick from one of the hydraulic lifters. The previous owner said he had the same problem shortly after he bought the truck in 79 that the motor was in. It does not happen all the time and does not affect its drive-ability in any way. I just want to be honest with everything about the car. Please take a look at the pics, call/email with any questions, have it looked at by a third party if needed, and bid accordingly. This is a no reserve auction, all bids are final, and the car will sell to the highest bidder. I will hold the car free of charge for 2 weeks and then for $20 per week under covered storage. This is a Special Deluxe CoupeThe electrical is 12 volt.All of the glass is good and the side glass rolls up and down as it should.The floors have been replaced from the bottom of the firewall back to the trunk.The heater is a Tropic-Aire and had recent heater hoses put on.The windshield wipers do work and are electric.The dome light does work.The headlights are grounding out now somewhere as they are blowing the fuse (They were working until I took it out for the last cruise).
