We purchased this Porsche from Capital One Auto Finance on 7/31/09, as a Bank repossession. On and off over the past 2 years our in house mechanic has attempted to repair this car's electrical issue??? No matter which gear the shifter is positioned, the ignition will not turn over. We put a scanner on the car, and it shows the car thinks it's in 2nd gear. We replaced the shifter assembly, and that didn't work. We replaced the transmission control module, and that didn't work. We replaced the transmission valve body assembly, and that didn't work. We can hotwire the starter, and the engine turns over, so we know it's not seized. We have fired our mechanic (for other reasons), and have run out of patience with this car. Our loss is your gain. Hopefully there's someone out there that knows more than we do about Porsches??? The interior is in good condition. The leather seats show very little wear. The seats are heated. The dash is in great condition. The door panels are all in great shape and all the power windows work properly. The sunroof functions properly. The headliner is in fantastic shape. The radio does not have power? The exterior of the car is black and in good shape. The body is straight and dent free. I did not see any dings either. This is a rust free California car. Both bumpers look nice and straight as well. The paint looks really nice and glossy. It has very expensive HRE 10 spoke 3 piece alloys, with 285/30ZR19's in the rear, and 245/35ZR19's up front. The rims are in good shape. All four tires look good. Please check out the pictures to see condition of rims and tires. There will be a $55 doc fee and a $135 auction services fee added to the winning bid. There is no exceptions. California residents will also be charged sales tax, registration and smog fees. All out of state buyers will be subject to California sales tax if they pick the vehicle up in person.
