This is a pretty nice truck, originally from Arizona. The original owner loved and cared for the thing pretty well. This 60 has 173,XXX on the odometer. Pretty much everything works, including the AC, which was converted to 134a. About the only things I am not sure of are the rear window defogger and the Uniden CB that came installed in the dash. I’ve done some work to the beast, including installing heavy duty rear shocks, new 30 X 9.50 BFG All Terrain TAs to work with the stock gearing, replaced all fluids, new radiator and many hoses, rebuilt carb, sorted out the vacuum stuff under the hood, and generally worked out the details. In the process the engine got all new external gaskets, front and rear main seals, and front mounts. It runs and drives great, and it does the same thing every time. The engine does not burn or leak oil. It works well in 4WD. The body and frame have absolutely no rust. The paint is original, with the exception of the lower portion of the driver’s door. There are some minor scrapes and dents in the body work here and there. The interior is pretty nice. I have and am including a decent used reservoir for the headlight washers (the busted reservoir in the engine images). Overall this is a nice example of an FJ60 that happens to be functional as well. Speaking of function, this Cruiser is a real trooper. I’ve road tripped it with great success. I drove it to the mid west, and also to Utah, with no hint of problems. Climbs like a goat up mountains and though mud even at stock height, and rides real nice on the road. Fly in and drive it home without worries.
