Hello, and thank you for looking . HISTORY This 1988 GMC s15 truck started its life in Dayton,Ohio where it was built at the plant sent to a dealership as a cab and chassis. When they sent it to Kaffenbargers (they install beds plows etc for many vehicles) where the bed was installed. The bed is steel inside and fiberglass out.as a new vehicle it had a 2.8 auto.the 1st owner kept it a couple years and traded it here in Richmond In. the 2nd owner drove it up to about 100k miles when the head gasket blew and, he parked it in his drive. Where I watched it for several years.Finally getting it bought in 6/08. I doctored up the v6 and drove it for about a year before starting this build. 1. CHASSIS The truck was tore down to the cab only on the frame. these were pressure washed and painted black. The springs were removed and the rear leafs were replaced with 3" lower. the front replaced with 3" lower coils and, 2" spindles, alignment done at that time. The steering shaft was modified it has a gear and chain to move the shaft over about 4-5 " The brakes all inspected and replaced as needed. the shocks new on front not on rear 2. BODY This body was really good to begin with. The right side rocker was replaced and I bought replacement inner fenders. I narrowed a 1967 Chevy full size nose and installed it.Then the doors were flipped. and the handles shaved.The paint main color is intense blue pearl metallic.The first flame from the bottom up has airbrushing ( angels) hid behind blue candy .the next flame is pearl white outlined with magenta.(pink) ad the last flame is diamond plate behind candy purple out lined with silver.The headlights are clear with blue halo rings around the outside edge on its own switch. the ail lights are 4" all chrome when not on LEDs .there is a small toolbox mounted in the bed that I keep the cover and, cleaning supplies in. 3. ENGINE / DRIVE TRAIN The engine is a 454 from a 87 crew cab truck. the heads were not removed. the crank bearings checked w plastic gauge, the cam lifters and chain were replaced. mild but sounds and works good. Gaskets and seals replaced st that time. and it was painted. Cooling It has aluminum water pump and the pulleys were from a Mercruiser big block boat to get clearance it has a new aluminum radiator and 2 new electric fans wired with thermostat.it also has a nice aluminum overflow tank.The heater box was replaced with one without a/c. I have a new core never installed. CHROME power steering pump / alternator/mini starter/ fuel regulator and more..aluminum valve covers and, a POLISHED single 4 tunnelram intake with a 750 cfm edelbrock carb.ed by the stock s truck in tank pump. The transmission is a 700 r 4 with shift kt The rear end is a s10 with 3:73 posi. the exhaust is fabricated manifolds which dump and run to passenger side into a dual in/out flowmaster style muffler and turns down there in front of axle. The battery was relocated and hidden under the bed. The distributor is a MSD HEI with rev limiter. The engine compartment is clean the inner fenders same color as truck. THE INTERIOR Aftermarket Seats ,console is from a Bravada. It and every panel covered by HOLIDAY custom interior with matching tweed.there is a cross embroidery n each door and a pic of Jesus behind seats new carpet.matching 4 point seat belts.it has a dash cover which hides a cracked/junk pad.it has a 5' monster tach w shift lite and water oil and amp gauges. a SONY am fm cd with a bass tube behind the seats. the dome lights were rewired to work on the doors and show this all off at night.
