I am the original owner of this exceptional 2004 Honda ST 1300 (non ABS). The bike was purchased new locally in Boulder, Colorado. With just over 5,000 miles, the bike is virtually like new. The bike was ridden only by me and was garage kept and covered except when on the road. I live near the Rocky Mountains and have spent many hours exploring the high country on this very powerful and easy handling bike. For driving around town or for cross-country trips, these bikes offer style, power, comfort, and Honda reliability. The ST1300 has a longitudinally mounted, 125 HP smooth running and powerful V-4 engine utilizing electronic fuel injection. Engine power reaches the rear wheel through a 5 speed transmission and a trouble free, minimal maintenance shaft final drive. I routinely get 50 mpg even when driving in the mountains. The operations of the bike are regulated by an on board computer. A four way hazard flasher is standard as is the electronic adjustable windshield. The instrument cluster has dual trip meters, clock, outside air thermometer and instantaneous fuel economy readouts as well as the odometer, speedometer and tachometer. The auxiliary panel warning lights advise of oil pressure, EFI status, high beam and neutral indicators. The generous saddle bags are big enough to accommodate a full-face helmet. If your garage is currently full or you don’t have one, the price of the bike includes a “Cycle Shell” (see photos) for complete outdoor protection from the elements 12 months per year. I suggest you go to your local Honda dealer and check the ST 1300 out; drive it and then check out the $17,500 list price. The new ones are virtually identical to the 2004 you see for sale here. The bike has never been “down” and has never had any operational issues. There is one small scratch on the right side mirror; otherwise the bike is perfect. Ask anyone who has ever owned a ST (1100 or 1300) and they will confirm what true quality and fun machines they are to drive. EXTRAS include--automatic battery tender (plug in under pillion with no need to expose battery when charging), bike cover, Cycle Shell, brake lock, and security cable. The owner's manual, extra key, and the original tool kit also go with the bike.
