1983 Ford F150 4x4 - 4WD Auto WARN hubs 351 Engine There is NO RESERVE on this auction – so Happy Bidding!Good CompressionTires are recent with at least 85% tread remaining M+SAccell Super Coil – NewAutomatic – Works Great4x4 (4WD) works great and engages with no issuesNew Starter (from autozone)Dual Fuel TanksHolley CarbAfter Market Temp GaugeWARN HubsRecent RadiatorNew HosesNew Cap and Rotor8MM Prestosil Class E Plug WiresGood BatteryCamper ShellRear slide WindowRadio44,849 (this is probably 144,849 but the engine was replaced by previous owner and has less than 30k miles on it) and has even compression across the cylinders) This is a GREAT classic Ford F150 pickup truck with a long bed, camper shell. The truck is Automatic and shifts very well. The 4wd works great, engages with ease and has WARN hubs! The radiator and heater hoses are new, as well as the alternator belt. It has a new starter, battery cables are all cleaned up with new terminals, a new Accell Super Coil, new plug wires, cap, rotor, air filter. The truck also has the stock hub caps on it which are very hard to find if you are going for the classic Ford truck look, if not they have sold very well on eBay and you could remove them and sell them to someone else who wants the classic look. The compression tested at (112,110,110,112,114,114,113,113) the rule of thumb I have always been told is that compression should be within 85% between the high and the low. I can’t do math well after an accident in a Honda Civic, but this must be at least 98% as the difference is only 4 pounds between the low and high. No oil was squirted into the cylinders during the compression test and compression would likely be an even 125 pounds across the cylinders had it been. I am told that it is not important if you squirt the oil in, or if you remove all the plugs or one at a time to do the compression test as long as you do it the same for each cylinders. The cab is clean inside and looks very nice. The truck shifts and drives very well. I also replaced the thermostat. The brakes work, seem a little soft (not sure how they should fell) but still stops well. The truck could use new rear brakes, does not have a tail gate (someone stole it), needs a driver side arm rest, the carb could use some adjustments as I can not remember where two of the vacuum lines go (still runs fine with out them), the e-brake does not work and has cracks in the windshield. There is some sheet metal rust below the tail lights. I treated the entire under carriage with Rustolum rust blocker, repaired a few small dings, and fixed up thinking this was going to be my new daily driver as it is a very good truck. A month after I bought it I got a great deal on a old Chevy diesel pickup and that is now going to be my daily driver only because it will do better moving our stuff, as we are moving out of state and I can not afford to take this truck with me and need fuel money to move. The truck is sold as is where is and must be picked up by the new owner. A non refundable security deposit it due within 24 hours via Pay Pal of $300 and the remaining balance is due in person within 7 days after the auction has closed. The van must be picked up within 7 days of auction close. I can help you move it into local storage (in Puyallup WA) if you set up the storage in your name (cost is around $50 a month) if you need more time to pick it up. The payment in full will still be due within 7 days of auction close as I am leaving town then. I want to leave town ASAP so I will offer a $50 discount if you pickup the truck or pay in full and setup storage at the Puyallup storage facility within 2 days of auction close. I will issue to the winning bidder a simple bill of sale, stating title is clean, vehicle sold as is in your name, and list your drivers license on the bill of sale. There is no charge for this paperwork if done in person, if not there will be an additional processing fee of $75 to cover costs). You are welcome and encouraged to have your mechanic inspect the car at your expense, although they will not be permitted to disassemble and will be responsible for any damage they may cause to the car. The car is for sale locally as well, so I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time prior to the auction closing (but unless it sells locally before the auction end it will belong to the highest bidder – so good luck and happy bidding).
