Beautifully restored 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. This model was one of the most iconic vehicles in the Mercedes 123 body style. The 3 liter 5 cylinder diesel engine is considered to be the most durable engine Mercedes ever built and quickly earned the reputation for longevity, stability and prestige. This car is a great highway cruiser. My father purchased this car brand new in 1985. I have all the original dealer papers and Mercedes handbook. Fifteen years later, I bought the car from my father. All options work accordingly: sunroof (all moving parts replaced), power windows, vacuum door locks (all vacuum lines completely replaced throughout vehicle, including lines to the vacuum trunk lock). Two years ago, I had the car completely stripped and repainted (original Mercedes gray). The exterior is exceptional (there is a chip next to antenna). The seats have been re-springed and re-stuffed. There are two cracks in the dashboard. Additional restoration facts: -all new suspension (coil springs and shock absorbers) -new timing chain, all new injectors etc. -new Kenwood cd player with four new speakers ( the acoustics in the car are incredible, best sounding stereo system out of the 4 cars I own) -new chrome Mercedes (after market) 17 inch wheels with new Mastercraft Avenger HP 225/45/17 tires -the car also comes with 4 original Mercedes wheels with Bridgestone 195/70/14 tires (not pictured) -new Mercedes block heater assembly -new Mercedes ignition switch and steering column lock out assembly This is a 26 year old car in great condition and it will be sold AS-IS, please bid carefully!
