Vehicle Detail

=> Body disassembled, blasted, painted and re-assembled with all S/S hardware. => interior rhino / line-x => Custom build 383 Stroker; Solid Roller CAM; SCAT crank; dished pistons; hardened rods, rollers, & rockers; polished, ported, bowls, seats work - custom "Larry Meaux Racing Heads"; match ported and polished Victor JR. Intake; 200HP N2O solenoids mounted on intake plate under Pro-Systems 1000CFM carb. Complete long block was professionally built in Baton Rouge, LA. $14.5K invested in motor and custom headers. 10-pull Dyno tested @ 781HP / 734 ft. lbs. torque (have printed reports, pictures & Dyno binder). => Alum radiator, custom shroud, pro series high CFM elect. fan => Custom ceramic dipped headers, custom 3" exhaust w/ Master Flow series 40's. => Custom built TH350 1000HP tranny, 3200 Stall converter, with B&M Quick Silver ratchet shifter and B&M Launch control on custom aluminum console in cab with switches for 12VDC disconnect, manual fan control, launch control. => serpentine accessory drive system. => Custom billet Alum gauge dash insert w/ all Auto-Meter($$$) gauges. => Custom chopped 9" Ford, 31 spline, disk brakes, 542 gears on posi-spool piece in rear. => Man-A-Fre front disk conversion. => Ford Mustang power drum, Master Cylinder and proportioning valve for 4-wheel disk brakes. => NP205 transfer case => Custom 2.5 Ton "High-Angle Driveline" rear shaft, with double Cardin and flange mount on both ends. => Custom 4-Link rear suspension with coil-overs. => Front shackle reversal & removed overload leaf for smooth ride => Rancho S9000 adjustable front shocks => Power steering => Custom side steps. => Custom front bumper, PIAA lights => 35" Pro-Comps on 15" A/R wheels. => custom roll cage. => Original front bucket seats, very good condition, very-very good rear jump seats. => Hard top, sides & rear ambulance doors in storage (average shape, never restored; may need slight mods to fit 73 model). Other info: Side running boards have old rust underneath on frame mount. I never bothered to fix because they were undercoated before I got the rig, and they are not rusting any further. Can be purchased new if you wish, for $109.25 from Rocky Mountain Cruisers. Overall the rig is rust free except for one small spot on rear from the moron that I had weld my new rear sil in while he was line-x coating it. Engine firewall was never finished up in painting because of all of the engine build up, train installation, removal, etc. Ashtray and glove box doors never painted and installed. Dash board needs re-covering. Front driveshaft not attached because of extended tranny pan needs slight trim mod to clear, and the mixed gear ratio from front to rear. Need to better match front to rear gears before putting this thing in 4-WD unless in loose mud. $32K to date. I hate to let it go, but need room in my small shop for another project. This rig needs to get into the hands of someone near a beach to ride, play and show-off, or someone with needs for frequent adrenaline rushes. Less than 50 miles on the new build-up. I have nowhere to enjoy cruising this rig. Paint color is a beautiful olive green. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. This vehicle is being offered "as is with no warranty". Other photos can be viewed at: http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff477/tfrith/73%20FJ40/ Specific photos can be provided on request to serious buyers. Please ask questions, I've done my best to list all that I can think of. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, please don't waste my time. Location: 70548On Jun-28-11 at 11:51:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Clarifications: 1. Tranny is TH350 - manual valve body (for high HP). This means you have to shift it with the B&M ratchet shifter (it does not shift on it's own). 2. Interior of rear jump doors primed only, need final paint. 3. New Auto-Meter Fuel gauge and Tranny Temp never hooked up. 4. The unit is overall in very good -to- mint condition. Is it perfect - No. Has it just left a professional restoration shop - No. That's one of the reasons why you're getting a change to buy this rig at 1/3 the cost. Read the details, ask questions.
