This is a silver1967 250 SL with a black interior and a 4-speed manual transmission. Like all late-model 250 SLs, it is very close to a 280 SL & 230 SL in appearance. The 250 SL was produced from 1966-1967 and only 5,196 unites were produced. Paint and overall appearance are all very good. . This 250 SL is a coupe/roadster, it comes with beautiful pagoda hardtop as well as a new factory black German canvas soft top (only used twice, once for these pictures). The car was built to drive and not to hide. Mileage shows (1)25000, but the rebuilt engine has less than 500 miles. During engine rebuild fuel injection pump was overhauled including injectors. Engine and transmission mounts were replaced and a new clutch kit was installed. This 2009 rebuild / maintenance cost $13,100. (paperwork available) Registration is all current. This SL was purchased in 2002 and many normally warn parts for a car this age were replaced and where possible, the parts were upgraded - such as a stainless steel exhaust system. Work was done by German Automotive. Only comment during last service was that it needed to be driven more! The car was left outside while the engine was being re-built and now has some small surface rust spots on the body and back bumpers. One hub cap is missing and there is a very small ding on front right fender (pic) and small rust on back left fender under bumper (pic).
