1971 Corvette Roadster - 454 - 4Speed Restored! Here is an extra sharp, 1971 Corvette Roadster that appears to have spent most, if not all of its' life in sunny and dry Arizona and it shows! The frame is rock solid and the body appears to be an unmolested and unhit body. The restoration was accomplished in stages over the past 10 years or so and under the direction of 2 or 3 different owners until its' recent completion and while it's not a total, show quality restoration, it looks great as my photos show! Equipped with the following options: -454 Cu In 8 Cyl Engine - NOM - -4-Spd Manual Transmission -AM FM Radio -Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column -Rally Wheels -245/60R15 BFG Radial TA RWL Tires Odometer Reading: 16,751 VIN Number: 194671S103243 As you can see in my photos, this is an impressive looking Corvette Roadster! It is finished in probably the most desirable color combination for a sports car, Black with black interior and it looks great! The body appears to have all of it's original panels and appears to be an unhit and unmolested body! The frame is rock solid and is as rust free as you would expect an Arizona car to be! I would rate the fairly new paint job as a gorgeous, driver quality finish. Other than a few small paint cracks and marks, it was a quality paint job that has been sanded and buffed to a high luster! The body is actually in very nice condition and there are no signs of any prior accident history. The underside is relatively clean and it was meant to be a driver rather than a show car. The chrome is still in very nice to excellent condition. The white convertible top is in very good condition. The interior is in exceptionally nice condition! The seat covers, carpeting and door panels have all been replaced at some point and all look great! The dash is in great condition and the gauges are clean and bright. With the exception of the clock, all the gauges seem to work as they should. The high speed fan does not work and the wipers work but the wiper door is sluggish. The horn blows, the radio plays and the interior courtesy lights work fine. There is a small trim panel missing that covers the top frame work on each side behind the seats. The 454 Cu In engine was totally rebuilt and has only a few brake-in miles on it. While not a numbers matching engine, we believe that it was a big block car to start with. The engine runs smooth and quiet and it drives very well! The transmission was rebuilt and the clutch is new. The brakes consist of new calipers and new rotors and they work great! The exhaust system is new and the front suspension has been rebuilt along with the rear trailing arms, half shafts and suspension, etc. The tires are like new and are mounted on original style rally wheels. It has an aluminum radiator with electric fans for better cooling. The mechanicals on the car have largely been rebuilt or replaced so it shouldn't need much else to make it the fun driver that it was meant to be! The Corvette is truly one of the most iconic and recognizable of all the sports cars of the period and there are few cars that compare! These are some of the fastest appreciating and most sought after collector cars in the market today and this is a beautiful example of a Big Block Roadster! It has desirable options!
