Here for bids is a 1939 Ford pickup truck, rat rod project. This truck was found by a friend of mine on a farm under a lean-to and appears to have been setting there for many years. Motor now has been cranked up by spraying gas in the carberator, no knocks or smoke. Fuel lines need to be cleaned and tank replaced to make it to where you can just run it. The generator is off of the motor as we took it off to clean points and try to crank it. This truck is good for rebuild, rat rod or parts truck. It has rust in the body and in the frame. The frame has rust on each side right before it kicks up in front of the back wheels. Three wheels roll fine; left rear is stuck - may have it unstuck by end of time of auction; don't know. Trans seems to be fine. Everything seems to be there. Bed was in rough shape but as you can see in pics, I do have a better bed for it that I got ahold of. The rear fenders have breaks and dings but are fixable. Front fenders have a few breaks (not bad at all) and very fixable. Hood operates as should. I have two other projects at this time, so rather than let this one set, I am putting it up for sale. NO RESERVE --- SOLD AS IS - Bill of Sale will be given (Georgia is a non-title state). Buyer is responsible fully for all shipping arrangements and cost and as long as truck is paid for before shipper comes, I will help load. You can come pick it up with your trailer or flatbed truck. There is a $300 nonrefundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end via Paypal. Prefer truck to be paid for in full within 5 days. Can have up to 30 days to pick it up. Note: Truck HAS TO BE PAID in full within 5 days of auction end.
