All wheel drive mated with turbocharged power, sport tuned suspension a high powered stero Calling the Audi A4 a value-oriented car may be reaching a bit, but the A4 is Audi's lowest-priced car, and even though it's not cheap, you get a lot for what you pay. This A4 is luxurious, sporty, winterproof and much cheaper than BMW's 3 Series. As such, if you are in the market for an entry-luxury car, this one deserves your serious consideration. Talk about in-your-face design! The look is bold, expressive and so distinctive, you can spot the A4 coming from a mile away. All the Audis have big-time personality, and this A4 is no exception. Even better, mechanically the A4 delivers on the promise of that aggressive face. A 1.8L Turbo-charged I4 is at the heart of this beauty. The Quattro designation means this one gets you AWD and the Tiptronic transmission. Plenty of power hails from the I4 Turbo, but it comes in a civilized manner. Despite a taut suspension, the ride is magnificent on smooth roads and recovery is swift when you do hit a bump or hole. The interior setup is both cool (a red-lit dash) and convenient. The good things about the A4 include a world-class cabin, right down to the cup holders You are going to love listening to your tunes on the sound system. This sedan seats five people and has four-way power lumbar support. The seat cushions have prominent bolsters. Standard equipment includes automatic dual-zone air conditioning and an Immobilizer II anti-theft system. We haven't even talked about safety, an area where Audi traditionally excels. In addition to the aforementioned side curtains, standard equipment includes side air bags for front occupants, electronic stability program and four-wheel disc brakes with antilock. This car runs great. Drives like its on rails. Very responsive and fun ride. Tranny shifts smoothly. Turbo boost is noticeable but not "neck-jerking"! Ride is smooth. Rattles and creaks are minimal for a car this age. Carfax is clean and there are no accidents listed in the history. It is apparent to us that the back bumper cover has been repainted and not done very well. Front passenger door has also had some kind of event and has been repaired and painted. Overall, the body is very strait . Paint polished up very nicely with some good wax and scratches were almost non existant after it was buffed and waxed. The car still has a lot of life in it. Front tires are good (60%) rear tires are better. (75%) We replaced fluids and filters and checked belts and other disposables. This is a no reserve auction.
