This auction is for a 1989 Acura Legend, V6L, that includes several features, like Power Steering, Sunroof, Tinted Windows, Power Windows, BBS Rims, Powerful engine (needs Work)), Great Body (with minor dings), and great heart. Notes about this Auction: This is great for a Mechanic, Enthusiasts, or some looking for several parts to use or resale. If I planned on keeping this car, I would just switch from an automatic Transmission to a Manual, and you got yourself a great car because the engine on this car is so powerful it overloads the automatic transmission. I went through three so far. At the current time this car is not road ready it needs a tire for starters and the transmission is not properly shifting. It will drive forward but has a hard time going into reverse gear. I highly recommend tow dolly, trailer, or tow truck. I am trying to save myself some time for parting and selling pieces. I figure the engine is worth $400-$500 on eBay, and the additional parts sold separately could easily sell for another $500 or more, not to mention a set of BBS Rims which are in good condition (one has some scratches from the tire going flat). History: I owned this car for about ten years and it has been great, but I am curse with transmission trouble I spent thousands at repair shops, and then decided to work on it as a project car to save money. It worked for a good while but I ready to let it go. I will include the original owner manuals (Complete repair manual) For the time I enjoyed driving this car, it was the best car I ever had. Runs great, great response, lock-up torque, and a beast of engine which it seems annihilate the transmission. I also have video of this running. Because of the age of the engine oil will occasionally seep into valves, I got around this issue by using heavy 20W-50 oil to avoid the valves bonnets from burning off oil (only happens when you are stop for a long time, but doesn't happen while driving). I haven't really run or drove the car or changed the oil in the last 4 years, so hence the smoke, but if I change the oil the smoke goes away immediately (these cars are known for that when they get old). Please email me if you have any questions. The car has a ding on the driver’s side door, and someone backed in to me at the shopping center and dented the qtr. panel on the passenger side. I managed to remove some of the dent. The rims are BBS Aluminum Rims in great condition; one rim has scratches on the wall because the car had a flat tire. The centers need to be replaced.
