This beautiful 68 Mustang has been my project for the last 3 years. It has a current state inspection, full coverage insurance and is driven every weekend. EVERYTHING works on this vehicle. It has a nice CD/AM-FM stereo system with Pioneer 6x9 speakers. It started off as a White 6 cylinder and is now transformed into this High Performance "351 GT Clone". Let me break down what I've done and paid to have done over the last 3 years. If you live around League City you probably see me driving this on the weekends. The Paint: It's one year old, painted by "Mainstreet Paint" in Pearland. The door jams, hood, and trunk lids have been painted as well. It's called "Highland" Green or Bullitt green, as seen in the Steve McQueen movie "Bullitt". The Engine: "Brand New" 351 cubic Windsor. Sent to the Machine Shop last year and paid $1,600.00 to tear it all the way down, replace everything with new, the block was machined, the heads were machined, the rebuild kit replaced all the seals and gaskets. I did have a larger CAM installed for a little extra kick. The Carb: "Brand New" Edelbrock 650 four barrel, lots of power. The Transmission: "Brand New", rebuilt here in League City by one of the professional transmission shops, $850.00. It's either a C4 or a C6, I can find out if it's important to you. Exhaust: "Brand New", Hooker Headers in the front and Flowmasters in the rear, sounds very nice, $1,200.00 installed. Interior: "Brand New", new upholstery, carpet, and door panels. It will need a black head liner. (I have the headliner that will go with it) Engine/Transmission Installation: Complete install cost $2,200.00 at Total Performance here in League City. We have to move to the East Coast this summer for work reasons. I have to sell some of my toys. This is a great car and alot of fun to drive. I always get heads turning and compliments when I take it out. VERY FAST!! There is a 12 warranty with the engine and transmission that has 9 months remaining on it.
