Up for Auction is my collectible 1979 Triple White Convertible Super Beetle. 1979 was the last year for VW Air Cooled Beetles. The bug is in solid condition for a restoration or to just do enough to get on the road. I was going to get it on the road for the summer however I have been relocated and will not have time to work on it. The mileage cannot be confirmed as only 57,000, I do not have any history on the car. The Convertible top is in great condition, no rips, works well, glass window, defogger. Dash board has no cracks, Clock works. Interior is in good condition, no rips in seats just cracks. Door panels in good condition. Carpet is is in good condition (not pictured) The rear floor pans need replacing (new ones are included), however the heater channels and convertible supports are in good condition with surface rust. The driver side front fender back panel needs replacing a new one is included.The front floor pans have surface rust and small holes on the driver side. Frame Head has surface rust only.The original fuel injected motor seized. The original block (crank shaft turns) and fuel injected parts are included, less heads and cylinders (see pictures). Two front and rear bumpers are included that are in good condition, straight and no rust.The 1600cc motor that is in the car I was told is from a 1974 beetle that was running and driving well. Needs a muffler.Electrical wiring needs work, some lights work, wipers work but do not shut off, clock works, radio works, no ignition key (start with screw driver) I tried to describe the condition as best as possible and show the condition in the pictures. There can be more wrong with the bug. The car is being sold as is, as pictured condition. All parts pictured are included.I will help with loading of the bug. Can be towed.
