1931 MODEL"A" SPORT COUPE! This car was a show-stopper twenty years ago and has been kept in dry storage until recently, when it was sold as part of an estate. The Sport Coupe was one of the more expensive Ford models; therefore, fewer were produced than the standard coupe and sedan. It has several features which make it more "luxurious" than the standard Model "A", such as a folding luggage rack in the back (which will accommodate a trunk or other items); dual side-mounted tires; side window shades (a wonderful addition on those hot summer days); a decorative radiator cap; even a radiator flag ring for parades! All these features make THIS a very collectible automobile. It's ready to drive and in good condition, although the paint is showing its age a bit. As you can see from our photos, friends will have as much fun in the rumble seat as you will have sharing the Model "A" experience with them! Because of the long time it spent in storage, new tires are recommended before any substantial trips are taken. There are also three small mounting holes in the top of the left front fender, where a rear view mirror could be mounted. A little TLC will bring this old gal right back to her former beauty! NOTE: The license plate shown on the front of this vehicle is NOT included in this sale. The rear plate only will go with the vehicle.
