Up for Auction is my 1972 Super Beetle Convertible, 1600cc engine, for Major Total Restoration or Parts. I purchase the car from Florida to restore and started the tear it down, however, it is more work than I expected. The bug is originality purchased in from Arlington Hts IL. The original owners manual is included. I have paperwork from previous owner that the motor was replaced in June 1994,however, I can not guarantee or verify it. The Good; (see pictures for condition) 1600 cc Engine was running last month, no smoke, I have not tried to start recentlyTrim is complete and intact Doors are in good shape no dents or rot, has all chrome trimDoors line up in the bodyWindows go up and down, all glass in good shape (missing rear window)Seats in good shape, Front and rear no ripsTop cover has no ripsFenders are in decent shape, except driver side front had rot repaired under light Below video clip of engine running. There can be more wrong with the bug. The car is being sold as is, as pictured condition. All parts pictured are included.
