1992 Volvo 960 wagon.This car has every single option available on this car including factory installed tow package,7 passenger 3rd seat,rare dog gate that attatches to the roof over the cargo area,and even a locking rear differential,with 331 gears.Its the straight ultra smooth 6 cylinder with over 200 horse power.New accessory belt.The timing belt assembly was done at 190K by volvo certified tech who was the previous owner.Power windows and locks,cruise control,am-fm dual power heated seats,power sunroof,all gauges including fuel etc all work.The engine runs flawlessly.The transmission is the same aisin 30-40 as used in rear wheel drive toyota cars and trucks.Its a 4 speed electric unit.It goes into limp mode every couple of days.With the upshift arrow flashing.(very common) I clear the mode with its underhood self diagnostic box and its usually fine for a few more days.Even in limp mode its fine just sometimes starts in a higher gear occasionally.Its ecm says shift solenoid 1 is not engaging sometimes.Ive researched... a fluid change will most times cure this or at worst,remove the trans pan and change that $45 solenoid.There is no slipping at all in this transmission and is a should be a simple fix.I do drive it everyday as is though.Thats it all else is great.A/C blows ice cold on the hottest day and was converted to the new 134a.I installed a brand new battery and radiator 1 month ago.Exhaust is whisper quiet.Car has zero rust and all its miles were from Conn. to florida between 2 homes.She is dead straight and silk smooth at 85 mph.Zero shake or vibration. Shows 1 minor accident which required respray of hood,which has some small clear coat flaking.Only a small tiny 1 or 2 door parking lot dings on the body,thats it.Seat bottom rear left side has its seams split from the hot florida sun.Overall leather looks older.Dash is perfect,headliner is perfect.I would drive this car right now coast to coast.Not a new car,but priced not as one.Sold as is,clear Conn.title in hand.
