Up for auction is this beautiful, one owner volvo 240 DL wagon with the RARE 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. This volvo has clearly been garage kept throughout it's life, as it is in excellent from the inside out. With only 162K original miles, this wagon has countless years of enjoyment left. This "swedish brick" has ZERO RUST, and is easy to see that it has been pampered for the past 22 years. Very well maintained, mechanically and cosmetically. As the 240 is already world renown to be one of the most reliable and safest cars on the road. This year is also AIRBAG SAFE. The body of this Volvo is 100% straight. The paint still has all of it's gloss and shines like new. All of the lenses are crack free. The interior does not have one single rip or tear. All of the floors are also solid, stain, rip and tear free. It has never been smoked in. The dash board has recently begun to show a few cracks ( see pictures ) however is also still in impressive shape for the year of the car. The original volvo radio still works great, and the stock volvo speakers produce premium sound. All of the electronic features work great. The cruise control is lovely for those long trips. All four power windows roll up and down as if the motors were new. All of the glass is chip and crack free. The engine starts right up, has a strong and smooth idle, and accelerates with ease. The clutch grabs just as it should, showing no signs of wear. The Manual transmission shifts through all of its gears effortlessly. The air conditioning blows ice cold. You will certainly enjoy the heated seats for the colder days, which also work wonderfully. All four Michelin tires have substantial tread remaining, and the brakes are also near new. All of the fluid are clean and filled to their proper levels. The Volvo has no leaks. Take this wagon anywhere.
