Up for sale is my 1995 M3. This car was prepared and raced in the 2007 One Lap of America race. In preparation for the race the car which at that time had 77,000 miles was sent to BMP Racing in Texas and had every suspension bushing renewed to new factory bushings, and the suspension itself changed to the H&R Cup suspension, the cooling system was changed with new factory radiator and an upgrade to metal impeller for the water pump. The car was then sent to New York state to have its VF Supercharger installed and a custom burned chip made. This car at my recent Georgia state emission inspection ran cleaner than the Toyota Prius that had tested five minutes earlier, much to my local inspector's amusement. The car finished third that year, and then returned to rare use on weekends. The One Lap is a great test of a street car, in that nearly 2,000 of the races miles are the journey between the race tracks used. If too stiff a "track" suspension is used, the drivers will arrive too beat up to drive at top levels. Since I purchased the car from the original family owners (#1 and #2), I have replaced the Angel Eyes with new Omnitzas (6000 HID), and placed new emblems, and put new Hankook HR 12 EVO 235 45 17 on it. I was thinking about respraying the car, but my favorite bodyshop wouldn't hear of it. "It's only original once!". There are 15 years of small dings here and there, but nothing major, the car could maybe use a buffing but it's in great condition. The interior is in great shape, with a small patch on the driver's side bolster having worn the paint off the leather "Vader" seats, but the leather itself isn't cracked at all.
