1979 Honda CBX

Here is a low mileage (13,103) 1979 Candy Glory Red CBX, which most CBXers consider the best year and the most desireable color! The bike has had a recent carb clean and synch. new chain and as a precaution I had the fuel tank lined. The Candy Glory Red is original on the tank and rear cowl and the front fender is a repaint due to a brake fluid spill on the fender. The paint was done by TIMS CBX and is a beautiful job and perfect match. The bike is mostly original, but I did upgrade to progressive rear shocks, steel braided brake lines and a jet kit. I also changed the OEM valve covers to chrome covers and added billet aluminum engine hangars and a SUPER BRACE, fork brace, both(from TIMS CBX) I do have the OEM parts that were swapped and the new owner can have them. The overall condition of the bike is excellent. I will do my best to point out the few flaws as I do not like surprises and am very particular about my bikes. There is a very small paint chip on the bottom edge of the front fender and a hairline crack in the rear cowl under the lip in the rear, both are only noticeable under close inspection and I tried my best to provide photos of both. The pipes are PIPEMASTERS, a superb exhaust maker from Australia. The pipes look awesome and sound even better. PIPEMASTERS takes 40 hours to handcraft the mufflers out of stainless steel. These pipes, I would rate a 9 out of 10 because of a few small dings, nothing serious. I do not have the original exhaust, I replaced the KERKERS that came with the bike and I really love the PIPEMASTERS. The bike is currently registerd in N.H. I never had a title as N.H. does not require one on vintage bikes. You will get a bill of sale and the current registration. NH is a non titled state and other states will recognize this. The bike incldes the OEM owners manual and a comlete CBX OEM tool kit in super condition. The seat is a correct CBX HONDA seat I bought 4 or 5 years ago for a little over.$300 The original seat is included in the sale. I did not use it because it has a slight separation in the seam and I did not want it to get worse. I planned to get it repaired but never got to it.
