You are bidding on a south Texas 2001 VW Golf TDI, Turbo Diesel. Very well designed car, and quite frankly, one of the best I have owned in my 70 years. I purchased this car in 2004 with 133297 miles on it. I have never had a disappointment in it. Rather than fix it, I have meticulously maintained it. Gets great mileage, accelerates and shifts very smoothly. Used exclusively Rotella and BG products. I recently replaced the driver's seat and fabric with an OEM one due to a stain on it. It has had the following items replaced @ mileage listed: Temperature sensor, 173294: Struts & bearings, 177888: Sway bar, 177888: torque converter, 180271: Starter 108271: headlight lens service, 203922: Injection pump, 217060: Glow plugs, 207366. Timing belt, 138704; water pump, 138704. All work, except brakes, done by the local VW dealer . Monster front floor mats. Tires, matching performance Sumitomo HR 4's . Never wrecked, no rust, with some minor dents and scratches. What's wrong with it? has some minor scratches, rear hatch does not unlock with the remote, the glove compartment r/h hinge is broken (see picture of new glove compartment). rear glass washer operates but does not spray water, rear l/h fabric floor mat damaged and the tachometer will fluctuate, occasionally, 50-75 RPM in mid range speeds. Dealer could not duplicate it and found no computer scan source. May be due to a malfunctioning sensor. Please don't bid like previous winner bidders who are not capable of paying as agreed. This has happened twice.
