Up for auction is his 1998 BMW Z3 Convertible (with hardtop and soft top boot). He owned the car for about 8 years and has always kept it very maintained. The car runs excellent, and has a lot of newer items- brand new soft top, brakes, brand new tires, a sensor that was replaced, and most recently, an oil change. The car currently has 129K miles on it, but they are mostly highway, as he traveled a lot to his house in Florida with it. It is black on the outside, with tan leather on the inside. It is loaded with an automatic 4 cylinder engine, leather interior, heated seats, dual power seats/windows/mirrors, AM/FM digital radio, mahogany wood trim, hardtop, etc . The car has always been babied and garage kept, and needs absolutely nothing. Along with the car we have 2 factory keys and the original owner's booklet. These are some of the rarest cars you will see on the road, and this one with the hardtop and its great condition really stands out! EXTERIOR: The outside of the car is in excellent condition. As mentioned, it’s always been garage kept and definitely shows it. Absolutely no dents/dings/rust or anything of that sort- just a couple of minor scratches around the body (see pictures), and a nick or two around, but nothing really noticeable.The paint has an excellent shine and is very glossy! INTERIOR: The interior of the car is in great condition. Every single option in the car works, including the heat and air condition, and it is all very clean. The seats look very nice, but the driver's seat bolster (where you would have your left shoulder on) does show a bit of wear (please see pictures). Everything else looks great in the car. MECHANICALLY Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car from NY to Florida and then back. This car was checked out from top to bottom mechanically and needs absolutely nothing. The engine and transmission are perfect, it doesn't leak anywhere, no noises coming from anywhere, and it's very smooth on the highway. All of the maintenance is up to day, and the car does not even need an oil change. As mentioned, over the past year the car has been through new brakes, a brand new soft top, brand new tires, it's had a sensor replaced, and just had an oil change. It is ready to go anywhere. As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for a well-maintained, all original, very nice BMW Z3 that will stand out from the rest, this is it. I’d be hard-pressed to find another one in nicer condition.
